(Photo : Photo: Suleman Family) Indiana teen pilot Haris Suleman had just recently acquired his flying licence. He and his father was killed trying to set the record of flying around the world in 30 days with the youngest pilot ever.
Rescue teams have recovered the body of Indiana teen Haris Suleman whose small plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean Tuesday night. He was flying with his father, Babar Suleman, whose body has yet to be found.
The father and son team took off from Pago Pago in American Samoa Tuesday morning on the last leg of their month-long adventure. They were only days away from accomplishing their dream to fly around the world in their single-engine plane.

Suleman, 17, had just gotten his pilot's license and instrument rating, which is necessary to fly an aircraft over oceans. Their plan was for the teenage boy to take command of the plane, except in an emergency.
The elder Suleman was a trained pilot who held a long-time dream to set a flight record where his son would have been the youngest pilot to fly a single-engine plane around the world in 30 days. They began their adventure on June 19.
The Sulemans also used the trip to raise money for building schools in the father's home country, Pakistan, as part of the Citizen Foundation project.
The non-profit organization builds schools in Pakistan, and the trip had already raised around US$500.000, which would be enough to build three new schools.
The U.S. Coast Guard says witnesses saw the Sulemans' Honolulu-bound Hawker Beechcraft crash shortly after take-off from Pago Pago international Airport. They had previously made stops in Europe, Asia, Africa and the South Pacific.
Unmindful of the various difficulties they faced during their trip such as illness and food shortage, the Sulemans were determined to reach their 30-day flight goal, and would have it made it back home to Indiana Sunday, but for their tragic ending in the Pacific Ocean.
