Today Daniel Radcliffe turned 25.

Not one to be coy, the now 25-year old spoke to the Daily Star about his romantic life, revealing how he felt when he lost his virginity and how he has improved as a lover over the years.

He shared that unlike most, his first time was a good experience and that he had done it with someone he knew really well. He added that unlike some people he knew, his wasn't "horrendously embarrassing".

The Harry Potter star shared a story about a friend "who got drunk and did it with a stranger under a bridge".

Stating that he has improved a lot as a lover after his first time, he shared that he would rather do the deed sober unlike some of his friends who do it drunk.

While promoting his new movie, "The F Word", Radcliffe also opened up about friendship, romance and the fine line between the two.

When asked if he has ever been in the "friendzone" with anyone, he said that most of the girls he has been in a relationship with were co-workers and that they became friends first before lovers.

He added, "That's how my parents met as well. They were friends first and it turned into a marriage."

Last April, Radcliffe went public with his relationship with actress and casting assistant, Erin Darke. Radcliffe and Darke met on the set of "Kill Your Darlings". The couple has been together for two years.

Before Darke, Radcliffe was in a two-year relationship with production assistant Rosie Coker, whom he met on the set of the sixth installment of the Harry Potter franchise.

The two were living together before they announced their split in 2010.

Radcliffe is currently promoting his new movie "The F Word", where he stars opposite actress Zoe Kazan.

"The F Word" opens on August 8 in the US.
