Taiwanese celebrity Dee Hsu reveals she was involved in a road accident, stating that she fell off of her bicycle during a day out with her husband and their friends.

Hsu made headlines when rumors which claimed that she is being abused by her husband, Xu Ya Jun, surfaced. The claims were denied by her sister, actress-singer Barbie Hsu. However, Dee Hsu once again made headlines after it was revealed that she was involved in a minor road accident.

On Wednesday, April 22, Hsu posted a message on her official Facebook account, where she relived the entirety of events which led her accident.

Hsu wrote, "I happily rode on the bicycle with my husband and our friends yesterday. However, I misgauged the speed while we rode downhill." She explained that she flew off her seat and fell on the ground face flat.

In her post, she wrote that her companions then immediately called for an ambulance, adding that she was 'petrified' and in a lot of pain when it happened.

Hsu thanked her family and friends for showing their concern for her, particularly her sister, Barbie, who spoke in her behalf to deny the accusations of abuse being made towards her husband. Hsu also cited her sister's effort for replacing her on the talk show she hosts. She thanked her husband as well for his care.

However, despite clarifications, the public was once again reminded of the abuse allegations against Xu. On April 22, Barbie is said to have published an article which cleared the issue.

In the article, Barbie explained that she will be replacing her sister on 'Here Comes Kangxi'. She wrote, "You (Hsu) really love to fall down! But as long as you are fine, I will always be your support."

Barbie also expressed her sympathy for her brother-in-law and advised him to 'pray to the Gods'.

On the other hand, netizens commended the sisters for their close ties and also encouraged Barbie for her temporary hosting in Hsu's talk show.
