Xiaomi Launches the Classy Mi4, its Latest Smartphone

Xiaomi has launched its fourth-generation smartphone and it looks classier than previous models.
Chinese electronics device maker Xiaomi, Inc. revealed the Mi4 on Tuesday to challenge Apple's iPhone.
Encased in a stainless steel frame, the Mi4 is available in two looks and colors: white and black and it comes with changeable plastic back covers.

Mi4 has a full HD 5-inch screen display. The Android-based smartphone runs on a 2.5 GHz Qualmcomm Snapdragon 801.
It comes with a 13 megapixel camera and an Adreno 330 graphics processor.
Xiaomi's move to use metal design highlights the company's intent to create a high-end brand with an impressive specs that still keeps a moderate price tag.
Xiaomi reported an impressive sales growth of 271 percent in the first half of 2014. It aims to sell 60 million handsets by the end of 2014.
The electronics company also announced the introduction of Mi smart bracelet called the "MiBand" that lets users sync it with the Mi4 to act as a fitness tracker. It can also unlock the Mi 4 when tapped without a passcode being needed.
The MiB and pairs with the Mi 4 using Bluetooth to record daily activities like calories burned and distance walked or jogged. It's also capable of monitoring sleep cycles and shares data with social network channels like Twitter and Facebook.
It also vibrates and flashes important incoming calls and has 30 days of battery life.
Xiaomi's Mi4 costs US$322 while the MiBand sells at US$13.
The phone will only be available in China, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
