Fans of Spiderman will probably be disappointed with the news from Sony. They have decided to push back the release date of 'The Amazing Spiderman 3' hitting the big screen 2 more years than the original set date, from 2016 to 2018.

Sony announced this yesterday at San Diego Comic-Con. Imagine the booing Sony is getting now. They did not explain why but they have better news coming your way.

It has been reported that both writers Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzmann are driving forces behind the Spiderman series in order to make the franchise, Amazing Spiderman, have a better future. Marc Webb was rumored to be returning to direct the third installment.

In an interview with Kurtzmann, he was a bit vague when he was asked about the updates for the third installment. This has given people the chance to think that they are in limbo since the second installment was a little bit underwhelming in terms of sales.

Is this the real reason why they had to push back the release date 2 more years? Maybe Sony does not want to rush things now at such a critical moment.

Spin-offs and shake-ups are yet to be released but as of now, remarks from the writers could not be used to draw solid conclusions.

They have a lot on their table and they have to pick carefully what they want in the movie and what they should remove.

It's not all bad news though. Here ye here ye for the fans of Sinister, the movie is slated to be released in 2016.

Sinister Six will be in theatres by November 11, 2016. This is definitely something good right?

For the San Diego Comic Con, more updates about upcoming movies are expected to be released over the weekend. They might also be releasing the first trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1", sources say.
