Rumor has it that Jessica Jung will be making her comeback on the small screen, the first one since being axed from South Korean girl group Girls' Generation.
In October last year was a controversial year for Jessica following her sudden removal from the nine-member girl group Girls' Generation, but was followed by success with the launching of her own fashion brand, Blanc and Eclare.

She made her first appearance in Korea back in November 2015 and also hinted on making a solo debut. However, almost half a year since stepping out of Girls' Generation, Jessica has not appeared in any TV shows.
Now, Jessica is slowly making her way back into the entertainment industry and is allegedly set to make a television comeback through a Chinese variety program after a long hiatus from broadcasting.
On April 23, Thursday, the 28-year old former idol was spotted at Incheon International Airport heading to Beijing, China. The reason behind her flight is said to be personal. However, a Chinese web portal reported that Jessica is going to Beijing to film for a new Chinese variety program.
Some netizens also posted photos which show Jessica recording her scenes. Still, little is known about the new TV program and Jessica's role in it.
Previously, it was also reported that she will be joining the cast of some Chinese and Hong Kong stars for an idol athletics show which will reportedly air in September of this year. The rumor caused a stir among fans after it was reported that she will be joined by former EXO members Lu Han and Wu Yi Fan.
Though Hong Kong singer Joey Yung confirmed her participation in said show, none of the former SM Entertainment talents confirmed their attendance.
In related news, Jessica launched the new spring-summer sunglasses collection for Blanc and Eclare, and she was also named as the sixth most successful Korean celebrity business owner.
