Lance Bass dropped a huge bombshell about One Direction when he recently appeared on The Meredith Vieira Show.
The 35-year old former 'N Sync member revealed that One Direction's front man, Harry Styles, has been ready to leave the extremely popular boy band for months and in fact, was supposed to leave before Zayn Malik did.

Lance said Harry was about ready to go solo for months, adding that the 21-year old heartthrob has been recording songs of his own.
Describing Zayn's departure as simply a "spur of the moment", he still believes that it's a good move since he was a relatively unknown name in the band unlike Harry Styles who has become a household name that even grandmas know who he is, Lance jokingly said.
He continued to explain that Zayn Malik's move was a good move because he became more popular after making headlines for being the first one to leave the band.
"So kudos to him for being smart to leave," Lance remarked.
He even admitted that he's actually surprised that the world-famous boy band has lasted this long.
Discussing the group, he said he thinks the five of them, Harry, Zayn, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, will always remain friends. After coming together on a television show and lasting for this long came as a surprise for Lance but hopes that the remaining four continue to make more music.
However, he insists about seeing Harry leaving the band soon and said "I don't see another One Direction album after he leaves."
Lance is probably talking from experience, given that he went through a similar situation with 'N Sync. Lance brought up the moment when Justin Timberlake told him and their band members, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez, that their band break was permanent, given Justin's extremely successful solo career.
Lance revealed that Justin honestly told them about not being able to concentrate on 'N Sync because of his thriving solo career and said that the rest of them had to accept, respect and love Justin's decision.
"You can't expect someone to do something that they don't really want to do," Lance explained.
