Master Herald reported that Kingdom Hearts 3 game developer and publisher Square Enix has decided to push back the game's PS4 and XBOX One release date to 2016 apparently to ensure game quality and visuals perfection.
This in contrast to earlier reports informing gamers it may be available on next generation consoles later this year.

Reports confirmed Square Enix is having a hard time with the images in Kingdom Hearts 3, the reason for the game being delayed until 2016. Aside from this, the game development team for the third installment is doing graphic research as they aren't satisfied with the present status of the game, which needs to appear with brush-like visuals when it becomes available to gamers.
After the last solid news about the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3, which was reported in 2013 at the Electronics Entertainment Expo, the release date delay coincided with the disappearance of Leonard Nimoy and Chikao Otsuka, the voice actors supposed to work throughout the game, Christian Today reported.
More information from Venture Capital Post claimed Kingdom Hearts 3 was being delayed since the focus of Square Enix isn't entirely centered on the game but on other titles as well, including Final Fantasy Versus III.
Kingdom Hearts III differs from its two previous predecessors in that it won't only be released exclusively on PlayStation consoles.
The D23 Expo will be held in Japan this November and some news about Kingdom Hearts 3 will likely be announced, confirmed Game Director Tetsuya Nomura.
