Lil Wayne's Tour Buses Shot At In Atlanta

According Cobb County police spokesman Elizabeth Espy, the two tour buses of hip hop star Lil Wayne, 32, and his entourage were fired at multiple times at around 3.30 AM, Sunday near Mandarin Oriental hotel on Peachtree Road, Atlanta.
Police say that they received reports that someone was shooting at the bus that Lil Wayne was on. According to reports, at the time of the shooting, the two buses were carrying nearly a dozen passengers and that they were being fired upon by people from two white cars that looked like a Corvette and an SUV.

Lil Wayne's entourage just left the Compound Club following a performance and were travelling on Interstate 285 out of Atlanta when they were shot at. No one was reported to be injured.
According to TMZ, Lil Wayne was travelling with a number of executives from Young Money, the artist's record label including Lil Twist and Super Hood.
Epsy said they have no suspects in the shooting. A month ago, Wayne's home in Miami, Florida was shot at and according to reports, it turned out to have just been prank.
Barely two weeks ago, was Wayne being sued by one of his tour bus drivers for grave threats, false imprisonment, and emotional distress.
Wayne also got arrested and sent to jail in 2007 for possession of a loaded weapon and in 2010, he was sentenced to three years' probation from his arrest in 2008 for drugs and firearm possession charges.
Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., is a rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur from New Orleans, Louisiana known for his solo debut album, "Tha' Block Is Hot" in 1999 which made it to platinum and the following albums, "Lights Out" in 2000 and "500 Degreez" in 2002, and "Tha' Carter in 2004.
