Almost all of the other members have played minor acting roles in several drama productions, but this time, it looks like Baekhyun will also be making his big screen debut through the movie 'Dokgo'.

According to media reports, Korean talent outfit SM Entertainment has already released a statement regarding Baekhyun's acting career, confirming that the 22-year old idol received a casting offer for the action-thriller film.

The company is said to be reviewing the plot and the characters of the upcoming film and it was revealed that things are looking positive for EXO's lead singer. It is said that if he would accept the offer, Baekhyun's role will be that of a gang member who would try to break away from the group with his superb fighting skills.

'Dokgo' is a film which revolves around the issue of school violence. The protagonist of the film will try to break the gang in their school after his twin brother falls victim to their violence.

Last year, Baekhyun made his debut as a musical actor and played the lead role in the Korean adaptation of the musical 'Singin' in the Rain'.

In related news, Baekhyun, along with members Park Chan Yeol, Oh Sehun and D.O., are starring in a web drama called 'EXO Next Door' which is a production of LINE TV. The drama has just released its seventh episode on Tuesday, April 28, and revealed yet another character played by EXO member Xiu Min.
