Right after Bruce Jenner's revealing and explosive interview with Diane Sawyer Friday night, people across the Internet began showing their support for Jenner who has come out as transgender on ABC's "20/20."
Before Jenner's interview, an Australian radio show, "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," planned to support the ex-Olympian by launching a social media campaign, asking people to put on nail polish and upload the pictures of their manicured hands on social media and use the hashtag, #PaintYourNailsForBruce.

The response showed various people from all walks of life displaying the sparkly nails on the Internet --- men and women happy to give Jenner their support while getting into the trend.
Jenner's confession that he considers himself a woman has opened up an international conversation on transgender. People from across the globe have given their support for Jenner, posting pictures of their painted fingernails.
The social media campaign pays homage to Jenner when he told Sawyer that he just wants to be able to have his nail polished and keep it long enough until it chips off. He said that he just wants to be able to enjoy life as himself or herself.
According to the CEO of the Trevor Project, Abbe Land, having someone like Jenner open up about being transgender puts a face on the issue that allows people to openly talk about it.
The Trevor Project's website was founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award-winning short film TREVOR. It is a leading national organization that provides crisis intervention including suicide prevention to LGBTQ teens. According to Land, visits to their website has increased by 40 per cent after Jenner's public transitioning.
Jenner has helped reinforce the transgender community. Arisce Wanzer, a transgender model told ABC News that Jenner's public declaration will help change the world.
She said it will change people's minds and change TV and will allow everyone to open their minds about the issue and according to her, that is a huge thing.
