Paparazzo Richard Fedyck, who was accused of assaulting Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds after an alleged hit and run incident, made his first court appearance on Tuesday, April 28.

According to a copy of information from the court hearing, the Vancouver celebrity photographer allegedly attempted to assault and harass the actor sometime between said dates while the hit-and-run incident is said to have transpired on April 10.
Police reports say that the 38-year old actor got into an altercation with Fedyck on April 10 in front of the Shangri-La Hotel. Reynolds suffered from a sore knee and back after the incident.
During the court hearing, Fedyck denied the allegations while his lawyer, Jonathan Waddington, immediately asked the court to ban any form of publication with regard to the court proceedings.
The court took a ruling and released Fedyck on eight conditions which include a 500-meter restraining order from the 'Green Lantern' star. The court also ordered the photographer to stay out of Vancouver until Reynolds's scheduled departure in mid-June. In addition, he is to stay out any location where the actor might be staying or working.
Furthermore, the court ordered the paparazzo not to have any form of contact with Reynolds' family, wife and children, and extended family. Fedyck is also banned from taking photographs of and filming anyone related to the actor.
Fedyck came out of the court hours after the hearing was done in order to avoid the media, but when he did, the celeb photographer reportedly pushed a cameraman out of his way.
