Damian Lau Denies Rift With Former 'Greed Of Man' Co-star Adam Cheng

Hong Kong actor Damian Lau, recently rumored to be rekindling a rivalry between him and 'Saving General Yang' actor Adam Cheng, clarifies that the rumor is only fabricated by reporters, according to Jaynestars News.

This issue stemmed from the fact that the classic drama, 'Greed Of Man' was rebroadcasted by TVB, garnering high ratings by TV viewers. Lau and Cheng haven't spoken for decades due to the reason that they were fighting for an opportunity to collaborate with Liza Wang.

Liza Wang denied any rift between Lau and Cheng, according to an interview at a promotional event of the TVB drama, 'The Limelight Years'

Wang emphasized that she had no idea about it and it all depends on the company.

Changing the topic to avoid further probing, the actress praised Lau as a co-star and they produced good ratings together.

Wang's fans surprised her with a cake commemorating her 49th year in the entertainment industry as an actress. The fans also wished her good fortune and a good TV rating for her recent TV drama.

Wang, in gratitude, enthusiastically stated that her fans missed her badly since she didn't have any TV projects last year.

"There is nothing to fight over. What is there to fight over? I have already worked with Liza three times," said Lau, expressing the fact that the rumor was only exaggerated by media.

Lau and Cheng's last TV project together was 'The Greed Of Man' and the two actors haven't kept touch ever since.

When Lau was asked if he avoided the promotional event for 'The Greed Of Man' way back to avoid Cheng, the 65 year old actor immediately responded that he was overseas and couldn't make it to the event in time.

Lau further added that he is not interested in a potential remake of 'The Greed Of Man'.
