With the news of Ian Somerhalder moving on from his past relationship with Nina Dobrev, she's been recently posting rather cryptic inspirational quotes on her Instagram.

The Vampire Diaries actress, who also happens to be the ex-girlfriend of costar Ian Somerhalder has taken to social websites to post some poems and quotes, presumably about her current situation.

The couple broke up May this year after three years of being together. The stars still continue to work together and claimed to be still friends.

According to sources, Nina Dobrev feels down and left out with Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed dating.

One post contained what seemed to be a description of what the actress is going through. It contains a short poem that says, "I give...You take, I break...You fake. PITY, I bleed...You dive in deep...Into my blood...As thick as syrup. Tell me are you...A mosquito?"

This was posted on the same day the actor and his new girlfriend Nikki Reed were together. Their relationship was confirmed on July 21 after the two were spotted together.

After the odd quote, the Vampire Diaries star then posted inspirational quotes about life, quoting Helen Keller's, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing," along with the caption "Don't live for nothing. Live for adventure!"

On the other hand, the 35-year old Vampire Diaries actor, Ian Somerhalder had been tweeting about Nikki Reed as a seeming response to his ex-girlfriend's posts.

The Twilight star tweeted about getting a homeless dog adopted and Ian Somerhalder played the role of a supportive boyfriend, also tweeting, "Some one please give Kate a GREAT HOME!!!! PLEASE!" He also included the link to Nikki Reed's previous post.

Furthermore, Nina Dobrev and Nikki Reed are real-life best friends. It isn't the first time that two actresses went for the same guy.

It was previously reported that both actresses had flings with Derek Hough, the Dancing with the Stars pro.  Nikki Reed dated Derek Hough briefly after her split with her husband Paul McDonald.

Despite the quotes that Nina Dobrev had been posting, she said, "I don't like any kind of negativity. I'll try to be good to everyone, whether it's a love, a friend, an ex. I'll always try to treat people the way I want to be treated."
