The Foreign Ministry Responds to Snowden's Applying for Political Asylum: "No Imformation About This"

In July 2nd's routine press conference of the foreign ministry, some reporter questioned Chinese comments on the reports saying that Snowden had applied for plitical asylum to many countries including China. The foreign ministry spokesman Hua Chunying said, "I read related reports, but there's no information about this."

Today Wikileaks announced that Snowden had applied for political asylum to 21 countries, such as Austria, Brazil, Finlad, Framce and so on. According to reports from Agence France Press(AFP) and other media, Finland, India and Ecuador has refused his application. And Snowden himself has withdrawn his application to Australia, too.
Recently, Snowden published some details of the secret project of American intelligence watching American and foreign citizens, including specific operation code names. At present, it is guessed by public information that he still stays at the transferring area of Moscow airport. U.S. has declared to request extradition to any country that Snowden stays.
