Kim Kardashian's new book will fans looking at over 400 pictures of herself, which were taken for almost a decade. However, the queen of reality television apparently does not want her fans to take their own selfies while plugging the new selfie book called, "Selfish."
The 34-year old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star reportedly prohibited selfies at her book signing at the Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue in New York City. According to Yahoo, Kim Kardashian made the rule to ensure that the long line at the "Selfish" affair was moving.

The "Selfish" subject enforced the selfie rule since a lot of her fans even slept outside the venue on Monday night just to ensure their chances of meeting Kanye West's wife, while she partied away at the Met Gala.
Strangely enough, taking selfies was also banned at the gala, which was an effort spearheaded by Vogue's Anna Wintour, who chaired the event.
As reported by Page Six, all those who were invited to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Gala were informed once they arrived at the venue that using their phones for social media and photography "will not be permitted throughout the event."
It is quite interesting that Kim Kardashian would also put the same selfie restriction on her fans, knowing that she, herself, broke the rules imposed by Anna. She shared on her personal Instagram account several photos from last night's celebrity-filled gala, including a selfie.
Upon arrival at Barnes & Noble, Kim Kardashian posed for the cameras while holding her new "Selfish" book, which was just released on Tuesday, May 5. She flaunted her curves in a cream colored, figure-hugging skirt which featured black buttons on the sides and a tight, lacy, turtle-neck top.
Kim Kardashian's dark hair was slicked back, as she sported her signature smoky eye makeup and nude lips. She completed her look with black stiletto sandals and wore no jewelry except for her huge engagement ring.
After the short photo session, Kim Kardashian sat behind a table and proceeded to sign the "Selfish" books for her fans.
In this month's issue of Harper's Bazaar, Kim Kardashian explained the "Selfish" project and shared that she has been taking pictures since 2006 and just kept them all in different folders. Since they had some difficulty trying to determine which order to put the photos first, they simply "decided that it made more sense to do it chronologically," she said.
