It looks like Justin Bieber isn't anywhere near getting over his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. Though the pair has been going about their own business for two years now, it seems like there is still some spark left between them-well, at least on Justin's side.

After he attending this year's Met Gala last Monday and saw Selena amongst the guests, the 21-year old controversial singer could not help but give her an unprompted compliment. In a video shared by TMZ on early Tuesday, Justin was seen getting into his car, with the driver steering away from fans-but not before he yelled out, "Hey! Selena looked gorgeous at the Met Ball!"

And it was true. The 22-year old Selena made quite the impression at the yearly gala, wearing a custom white, silk gown by Vera Wang, which featured black straps and black tassels. The gorgeous brunette accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz earrings and bracelet, sported a white flower headpiece and completed her look with dramatic, smokey eyes and red lips.

Justin, on the other hand, was wearing a black velvet, Balmain blazer with gold dragon embroidery. He paired the jacket with black shirt and black pants and accessorized with a cummerbund.

After the star-studded event, both pop stars dropped by the after parties held around the city. Selena went to The Standard Hotel, where she mingled with other Hollywood celebrities including Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon, and Vanessa Hudgens. 

A witness tells Us Weekly that "The Heart Wants What it Wants" singer looked extremely happy, who slipped into a black dress for the after party. The witness added that Selena talked to most of the celebrities there, as "she seemed to know everyone." 

After The Standard, she then went to Rihanna's after party at Up & Down, where Justin was spotted hanging out with rapper Tyga, his rumored girlfriend Kylie Jenner and her supermodel sister, Kendall Jenner.

A source revealed that Justin tried his best to talk to Selena but she, unfortunately for him, kept their encounter brief.
