Retro gamers of the 90's rejoice as they can now relive their 90's gaming experience of doing virtual skateboard tricks with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5.

Of course, the skating hero and titular character Tony Hawk will return as a character in the game, along with a younger generation of skaters, including Tony's son, Riley Hawk, who has been known more as a street skater.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 will have power-ups and projectile capabilities that will hopefully be beneficial for missions.
Activision, the publisher of the old games, will still produce the Tony Hawk 5, and will release the games for newer consoles first, only to follow with the the version of last gen consoles in the latter part of the year, as reported by Polygon.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater became the most famous skateboard simulation game back in the late 90's and early 2000's, spawning four sequels and multiple imitators.
The last Tony Hawk game was Pro Skater 4, and was released way back in 2002, allowing a 14-year gap between the two.
As with every game of today, Tony Hawk 5 will give players the opportunity to either complete the game via single player, to play against friends or work together via online co-op.
Aside from the return on classic game play, the ability to create skate parks is also retained, but this time the custom parks can be shared to friends online.
The blending of old and new aspects of the game seems a little farfetched, especially the ability to do projectiles, but something minor can be easily overlooked by rabid gamers who started out with Tony Hawk. Once this title hits shelves, eve Tony Hawk and Activision will remember how it as like back at the start of the millennium.
