Comic- Con fans were not dreaming when Christopher Nolan appeared in the biggest entertainment gathering at San Diego. What made it even better was that he personally went there to promote Interstellar, his upcoming sci-fi movie.

The genius behind the hit movies 'Inception' and 'The Dark Knight' trilogy was accompanied by Matthew McConaughey. In the event, there were more than 6,000 participants and they were ecstatic to see these stars join them in this event.

The movie Interstellar is inspired by the theory of wormholes. The movie shows how wormholes may be potentially used as a short-cut for time travel. Both time travel and wormholes have not been proven yet to be true so this movie defies those ideas.

Nolan presented the trailer to the crowd but details of the movie are still kept as a secret. There were no spoiler alerts much to the disappointment of their fans.

McConaughey, who stars in the movie, shared a story once. He says that he has proven how secretive Nolan can really be.

He shared that he got a call from his agent about the movie Nolan wants to do. They talked about it while having dinner but Nolan did not give any hints whether or not McConaughey will be in the movie.

A week later, McConaughey got a script and that was the only time he knew for sure that he will be part of Nolan's team.

McConaughey's role is very important because he plays as the engineer who will be working with other researchers. They are working on a plan to save the rest of the humanity. The story revolves around the idea of climate change.

Basically, the group of researchers is looking for a new Earth people can live in. The sad part about it is that these researchers leave their loved ones behind not knowing if they will still see their families or not.

When Nolan was asked about what Interstellar meant to him, he replied that it's about human beings, what it means to be human and what our place is in the universe. Wise words from a wise man indeed.

The movie will be hitting the theatres on November 17 this year.
