Kung Fu Panda Star Jack Black Joins in a Sticky Situation at Comic-Con, Promotes Upcoming Movie

Jack Black was spotted fighting costumed fans at Comic-Con. It's not for real but it sort of shows what Kung Fu Panda will do when stuck in such a situation.

Black was the one who voiced the main character in one of the best animated films ever. Black showed fans some of his own martial arts skills (which were not a lot) as they posed for photos on Thursday.

Black was in a mock tussle with an executioner, a wizard and a clown. They all grabbed him but being the ever-heroic Jack Black, he managed to get himself out of the sticky situation.

The "School of Rock" actor released his new movie's trailer, "Goosebumps". Black will be playing as R.L. Stine, the author of Goosebumps. The plot is about the writer keeping his own stories locked up because if they escape, they will wreak havoc.

Spoiler alert about the plot: A family moves into a house where the creepy neighbors, the Stine family, lives next door. The movie sets out a creepy and a dark mood. Basically anything that Stine writes comes into life and attacks him and his family.

Fans will be expecting some of their favorite books come to life. Maybe all of the monsters from the Goosebumps books will be shown in the movie. The lead villain will be Slappy, the well- loved character from "Night of the Living Dummy". He will be portrayed as R.L. Stine's alter ego.

R.L. Stine's book have been all-time favorite for kids and this movie will both be exciting and nostalgic for his fans. The movie will be in theatres on August 7, 2015.

Others who were spotted in the convention are Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson promoting 'Hercules' and Benedict Cumbermatch from 'Madagascar'.

Seems there are so many exciting things happening at Comic-Con right now. Not too late to maybe get there since it will still be continuing over the weekend.
