(Photo : Nintendo) Super Smash Bros will be released on Wii U on November 28, and Nintendo is hoping it will save the console.
Nintendo and Universal Parks and Resorts team up to develop dedicated theme park attractions based on Nintendo games, characters and worlds at Universal theme parks.
"Now, for the first time, those stories and characters will be brought to life in entirely new ways – only at Universal theme parks. The immersive experiences will include major attractions at Universal’s theme parks and will feature Nintendo’s most famous characters and games,” the announcement reads.

However, the companies will not reveal yet the details on the planned attractions as creative teams from both Nintendo and Universal are working on specific concepts.
Nintendo’s new theme park endeavor is known to be the new strategy for them to expand its international reach of characters and intellectual property by venturing into new business models.
As part of this greater plan, Nintendo is also teaming up with Japanese mobile gaming company DeNA to develop smartphone games starring Nintendo IP.
Alongside, Nintendo also discussed their latest earnings and how they reversed a trend of losses over the past four years caused by weaker yen.
In March, Nintendo also revealed that they are developing original games around its famous IPs. The Japanese gaming company also stressed out that they would not be ports of existing titles. The news about the theme park plans is a plus and will definitely make a major impact on the company’s earnings.
