Demi Moore is headlining an off-screen drama as she finds herself in the middle of a burglary worth 200,000 of haute couture.

The 52-year old actress' assistants discovered that a bunch of her extremely expensive clothing was missing from her storage unit. The incident occurred in a storage company in North Hollywood. Law enforcement sources revealed that a person from Moore's team dropped by the place and noticed that the unit was more spacious than it was before.

The thieves were also extremely discerning, robbing only Moore's couture and irreplaceable items. The "Indecent Proposal" star is said to be creating a detailed list of her losses at this time.

Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Moore and her team suspect that an employee at the storage facility is behind the heist, given that there were no signs of forced entry and the lock was fully intact. Adding to the suspicion is the fact that only Moore's assistants and the storage company's employees are the only people who have access to the keys.

According to US Weekly, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said that investigators will look into the robbery, conduct interviews, as well as examine the surveillance footage to try and identify the person behind the heist.

However, the investigation will surely encounter some difficulties in solving the case as a source told TMZ that no one from Moore's camp has visited her storage unit in six months, which means that the theft could have happened back in November of last year. On top of that, the source added that surveillance cameras at the storage facility does not save footage that far back.

Both Moore's camp and the storage facility have yet to make an official statement about the issue.
