New York police have arrested a Brooklyn woman who allegedly decapitated her neighbor during a fight over apartment rent.
Investigators said Leah Cuevas, 42, had cut up the body of victim Chinelle LaToya Thompson Browne, a mother of four, and scattered the body parts throughout two Long Island counties, Nassau and Suffolk.

The neighbors reported that they heard screeching screams as Cuevas attacked Browne's head with a "sharp instrument."
Browne's last words were, "No Lee! No Lee! What you doing? Oh no! Oh no!... I'm sorry, I'm sorry," witnesses said.
Cuevas was arrested Wednesday and was put before a judge Thursday at the First District Court.
Her attorney entered a not guilty plea on Cuevas's behalf.
Judge G. Ann Spelman said Cuevas's charge was "the worst conduct that humans can be capable of" and ordered her to remain in jail without bail.
Prosecutors said the real owner of the property died in 2013, and Cuevas only pretended to be the landlord, collecting rent from the property's tenants.
Investigators said Browne decided not to pay the rent because the Sumpter Street building doesn't have hot water or proper electricity. Browne also told Cuevas that she wants to move out, which led to the fight.
Members of the New York Police Department were called to the building to break off the fight, but on the following day, Cuevas returned to Browne's door and told her to pay the rent. Browne refused, and Cuevas attacked, repeatedly stabbing the victim in the throat and chest until she was decapitated.
Browne's husband, Dale, said his wife arrived in New York in 2013 with plans of working for a retail store. Dale said he's already planning to travel from Guyana to New York with their children after he fixes their paperwork.
"When the prosecutor described the words that she screamed out, I can hear those words," he told reporters. "It's animalistic. It's a beast that did this."
