Hong Kong actor Kevin Cheng finally confirms his relationship with beauty queen-turned-actress Grace Chan, Ming Pao Weekly reveals.

Recently, rumors that Cheng and Chan developed feelings for each other after starring in the same drama began to surface, and despite both parties' denials, the public still speculated that they are dating due to their apparent closeness behind the cameras.

After arriving from Holland to film, Cheng finally revealed that he and the 23-year old actress are dating. On a recent run-in with the media, the actor reportedly appeared more relaxed when asked about Chan. He explained that they have spent some time with each other and are now interacting more comfortably.

"She has a good personality," he told the media, citing his statement before about wanting to get married and have children. "Please give us some space to date."

The 45-year old actor revealed that despite being split into different teams for filming, he and Chan spent more time together. Cheng described Chan as a considerate and talented actress. He also added that despite being born in a wealthy family, Chan behaves in a modest manner which he admires.

Furthermore, Cheng told the press that he is not bothered that his relationship with Chan is labeled as a 'father-daughter' relationship, stating that their age gap is not a hindrance in their relationship.

"Being able to communicate is more important," he said, adding that he and Chan have common interests.

He sang praises for the beauty queen, saying that she is different from others who come from beauty pageant backgrounds before becoming actresses, citing the actress' love for acting. The actor claims that Chan is not after the fame and only wants to prove herself through her craft which he thinks is rare in a society which he deems 'materialistic.'

In addition, Cheng stated that he wished to ask Chan out for dinner to get to know each other better.
