Despite warning of jail time if she fails to complete her hours of community service in New York, Lindsay Lohan is reportedly still partying in London.  

On Thursday, her attorney Shawn Holley went to court in Los Angeles to explain to a judge why her 28-year old client had only completed 9 hours and 45 minutes of her community service out of the required 125 hours. She blamed it on the increased travel time, which became an hour and a half, after the charity transferred to a new office.

Holley appealed to the court to allow Lohan to complete her community service in Brooklyn, to which the judge agreed and even extended her deadline until May 28.

In order for Lindsay to finish her community service on time though, she needs to work 6 hours a day for the whole week, which would have only been possible if she were already in New York on Saturday instead of in London. However, the troubled star is currently still in London. She even partied on Thursday night and willingly posed for the paparazzi.

As reported by TMZ, her family and friends do not know where she is at the moment and have no contact with her.

Meanwhile, it seems like the Mean Girls actress believes that she is doing her community service, as she shared a photo on Instagram just less than a week ago, which shows a stack of envelopes on a desk. She even captioned the photo, "Community service-office day" followed by the thumbs up emoji.

Lohan has previously completed a few of her required hours at the charity Community Service Volunteers in London.

Her representative told Mail Online that the actress plans to continue to show her commitment to fulfilling her court requirements, as well as helping children because working with them is her passion.
