Yahoo is currently having a problem with former employee who is accused of spilling the company's secret to a writer. Cecile Lal, who was chief of staff to Yahoo's vice president, is facing legal actions for leaking important information about the company to a journalist named Nicholas Carlson, according to BuzzFeed News.

The writer is currently writing for his book "Marissa Mayer and the Fight to Save Yahoo!" Lawsuit was filed in Santa Clara County in California on Wednesday.
Everyone knows that whenever you leave a company never ever brings with you the company's private information as a sign of respect to former employer. It is also unethical because she was not authorized to do such thing.
Carlson works as chief correspondent at the website Business Insider. He wrote about Yahoo CEO Mayer, a former Google executive, as she struggles to reverse things on the struggling Internet giant since taking the position in 2012.
Lal clearly violated her employment agreement by disclosing the secrets to Carlson via email and phone call conversations. The company believes Lal has been feeding Carlson with many information since the start of April 2014.
One of the most important information leaked by Lal contains Yahoo's weekly "FYI" meeting session, which Mayer holds to address concerns regarding the things going on in the company. The meetings have different question and answer sessions with their employees and transcripts are available on a password-protected site called Backyard. Yahoo stated that Lal surely shared her password to the site with Carlson.
In the complaint, the company stated that Lal's violation took in many forms including her unapologetic attitude and breaches of her confidentiality obligation to Yahoo and Yahoo's trust to her.
As of the moment, Lal hasn't made any comment yet regarding the allegation and could not be reached for comment. Yahoo's spokeswoman said that the company could no longer give further information during the on going process of the complaint.
