Hollywood actress Jenifer Lawrence, best known for her role in "Hunger Games" series that has been a strong advocate of equal pay for actors and actresses, seems to have secured some victory finally!
Gender bias has been dominant in Hollywood for quite some time, with the male actors getting more money as compared to their female counterparts. Even in movies that were excessively female dominated, the actresses used to go back home being unsatisfied with their pay checks. Amongst the few female actresses who have been voicing their opinion against the gender bias is Lawrence, who has always supported the cause in several ways. Looks like the actress has finally secured a personal victory with reports on Metro confirming that Lawrence will be paid 20 million dollars, which is almost two times the amount being paid to her male co-star Chris Patt in an upcoming movie titled "Passengers."
