FOX has given "The Minority Report" and "Lucifer" the green light for the next season, which will join the Monday night lineup of the network.

"Minority Report" is adapted from Steven Spielberg's movie of the same title, starred by Tom Cruise. The TV Series, whom Spielberg is one of the executive producers, is a follow-up of the movie's plot which started ten years after DC's pre-crime, wherein one of the Pre-cogs (Stark Sands) fought to live a normal life as a human although stays bothered by his vision of the future. The pilot episode is written by Max Borenstein by "Godzilla."

On the other hand, according to IGN, "Lucifer" is one of the latest projects of DC Comics TV series, which stars the main character Sandman that was first introduced in the novel by Neil Gailman. Tom Ellis will be a modern version of Lucifer who is bored and unhappy being the Lord of Hell. He then left his kingdom and resigns from his throne in trade of the shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he opens a business - an exclusive piano bar named Lux.  The series' pilot episode is directed by Tom Kapinos of "Californication" and Len Wiseman of "Sleepy Hollow," which is one of the executive producers of the show.

Another notable show that FOX ordered is "Grandfathered," starred by John Stamos. He will play Jimmy along with other casts, Kelly Jenrette as Annelise, Josh Peck as Gerald, Paget Brewster as Sara, Revi Patel as Ken and Christina Millian as Vanessa. The show is about a longtime bachelor who's living his life to the fullest though it ended when he found out he's both a father and a grandfather.

Deadline reported that FOX have other series lined up for the next season, aside from" Lucifer" and "Minority Report," that includes "New Girl," "Empire-Rosewood," one hour thriller comedy "Scream Queens," "The Grinder" and "Grandfathered."
