The changes in the new beta include a small user interface tweaks on iPhone and on the iPad to the new iTunes Radio section; new animation when the user clicks the Up Next button on the Now Playing screen; more prominent toggles for only showing offline music; and, a new iPhone logo to show music stored offline.

Also, the music search history now offers past local searches, in addition to the iTunes Radio searches, while, the Now Playing screen will open once the user starts to playback a song "rather than just only appearing as the bar at the bottom of the display."

Although, the new Music app in the new beta release does not offer streaming service, it  still features new mini-player, new look, new playlist features and an easier access to the iTunes Radio. Also, the Trending Searches from beta 2 has been temporarily removed.

According to iDigitalTimes, the new mini-player in iOS 8.4 beta 3 allows all users to play and control playback while browsing their music collection. The Now Playing also sports new look in its album artwork.

Another feature in the iOS 8.4 beta 3 is that, the user can now "wirelessly" stream their music by using an AirPlay without leaving the Now Playing. The Global Search is also available and it allows the user to easily find the song they are searching by clicking the magnifying glass. The playlists can also be personalized, which the user can add their own photo and description.

Moreover, according to reports, Apple is reportedly planning to launch its new streaming offering at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 8, alongside with the OS X 10.11 and iOS 9.

The said streaming service might "compete directly with the likes of Spotify and be based at least in part on Beats Music," cited Tech Crunch.
