Former Fugees rapper Pras is reportedly living glamorously while his son lives in a small, fifth-floor studio apartment.

Aside from using a private jet to take him to the World Cup, Pras is also reported to live in a luxury apartment that has an estimated US$50,000 monthly rent, according to the child's mother who appealed to the court Thursday.

The Ghetto Superstar,  whose real name Pras Michel, is Landon's father. Landon is 4 years old.

Pras' ex-girlfriend and Landon's mother, Angela Severiano, said her testimonies are not about Pras but its about her son "who lives in a shoebox."

When a reporter asked Pras to comment on the child-support case, he screamed saying, "Get the f-ck out of my face," before leaving the court.

Severiano testified in the Manhattan Family Court and said that she and her son are living in a dismal apartment on 91st Street. She told the court that Landon sleeps in a convertible bedroom while she sleeps in the sofa.

The absentee father was ordered by the court to appear on Thursday's child support court hearing after he skipped the demanded first appearance in June.

Pras will also testify in September on the reasons why should not provide child support. The case requires him to pay US$3,000 to US$7,000 monthly to Severiano so that the mother and her child could move to a manageable two-bedroom apartment.

Meanwhile, Pras was seen attending the World Cup this month. He also posted a picture on his Facebook jet as he boarded his private jet on the way to Brazil. The photo was captioned with, "#Flying #private here we come #Brazil #worldcup."

The rapper-turned-producer reportedly raked in some US$1 million in profits in 2013 and has bought properties in Soho and Los Angeles.
