The "Mad Max" trailer was simultaneously shown with the "Mad Max: Fury Road" movie trailer, keeping the interests of the viewers for both the game and movie releases. The video game story line is entirely different from that of the movie, but the players are assured of a high level of 3D fiery violence.
"Mad Max" game is designed to look and feel real, just like the scenes in the Hollywood movie, according to Emil Kraftlin, Senior Game Designer. He even stressed that the physics used in the game was a totally different system which was taken from everything else, according to Motoring.
The approach and concept of "Mad Max" gives the players the impression that is showing similarity with "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," but Avalance Studios is saying otherwise. The developer created a game swapping boat materials of the latter, from a vast wasteland, trying to build a customized car in order to survive. There are still marked differences between the two games and it is said that the players will definitely notice it, according to HardCoreGamer.
The concept of "Mad Max" is for the players to find ways to build cars out of scrap taken from other cars; swap those for parts needed to come up with a more heavily-built vehicle. In the process of scavenging for needed parts, there is heavy violence involved.
