Probably the most famous conspiracy theory that will not easily be forgotten is that the U.S. government holds a secret base in an undisclosed location where officials and scientists have been hiding bodies of aliens recovered from a flying saucer crash in New Mexico in 1947.  

This event called the "Roswell Incident" was named after this small town where the wreckage was found. The wreck involved a weather balloon according to the U.S. military however, many locals believe at the time that it was an unidentified flying object.

This week, two photographs emerged again from more than 60 years ago that was from Roswell and claiming to be preserved aliens, were presented during a UFO conference in Mexico City.

Experts confirmed that these photos from Roswell were taken using a Kodachrome color slide film that was the current film stock during the 1940s, but this still does not confirm the existence of said aliens.

Experts believe that the photo was indeed originating from the 1940s but was also a mummified body of a human child.

This evidence of this alien claim can be considered as a publicity stunt for an upcoming documentary film called Roswell Slides that are currently under production or again, a hoax. Scientists say that those who attended the Mexico City conference were required to pay about US $350 to view those color slides.

The skeleton that appeared in the photos possesses a larger head when it comes to the rest of the body proportions, however experts believe that these are common characteristics for any human child's body.

Mummified bodies of children were already mistaken as aliens in the past even those specimens that possess strange and deformed skulls can also be explained with cranial deformities that was a common practice among ancient human civilizations.  

However, many UFO enthusiasts still cling to the belief from the claims that were presented in Mexico City. According to Jaime Maussan who is a Mexican UFO researcher, these photos are evidence of the reality of extra terrestrial visits.  

He adds that the presentation of the two slides that are both transparencies were important as they demonstrate the nonhuman features on the images.

Apart from this evidence, many still believe that the U.S. Air Force with other agencies have already discovered or made contact with UFOs and that the government has been covering up the Roswell wreckage inside a secret hangar in Area 51 located in Nevada.

The photos were claimed to be captured by geologist Bernard Ray dated 1947 between 1949 that were found inside a box with images that included Dwight Eisenhower before his term as president in an attic of a house in Sedona, Arizona.
