"Mortal Kombat X" is adding many new characters and costumes in its latest release, which is also the final release for the franchise. Produced under NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Interactive, the game saw the addition of a very interesting character in the latest version, named Jason Vorhees, and also his side kick, Tanya.

He is the same Jason who torments college children since 1980 and was lifted from the movie "Friday the 13th." The character is revered by the "Mortal Kombat" fans and they feel that it is unthinkable not to have him on the game.

Even though these characters are accessible to everyone who owns the latest version of the game, the gamers who play this game on PS4 might not be able to view Jason as one of the latest characters, even after the May 5 upgrade, states PS4 and XBox 720. This is nothing but a small glitch in PS4, which can be corrected using the following steps, which are compiled in association with IBTimes.

To unlock the character of Jason Vorhees, one first needs to visit the PS store, download Jason Voorhees, the Kombat Pack and the Horror Pack. The next step is to start the game.

Then in the training mode or the single flight mode, select these two characters - Jason and Tanya. While the fight sequence is loading, press the PS button and suspend MKX app (open the Netflix app to do so). Wait for a little while and then go back to the MKX app.

After that, one needs to pause the game and go back to the character selection option. Then just press Yes to allow the Netflix app to be loaded.  The characters will then be visible in the far right corner of the screen.

"Mortal Kombat X" recently stopped mod support, which upset a number of fans no end; however, they soon found workarounds and downgraded to the previous version in order to use the full functionality of the mods.
