Coffee And Its Effects: What Does Caffeine Does To Our Brain? Like What Cocaine Does!

Do we really know how coffee works? What caffeine does to our brain? Coffee let people stayalert the whole day and both an upper and a downer, which works variedly on different drinkers. What we need to be aware of is that, coffee has a factor of usual exhaustion from a molecule that is made by our body called adenosine. As we sleep at night, the adenosine slowly boosts wakefulness. At the same time, the more adenosine that are built, the sleepier we get.

PsyBlog reported that morning coffee hacks the adenosine concentrate on caffeine, which fasten the brain cells. Due to the similar shape, caffeine can act up adenosine receptors to the brain. Once the caffeine is attached into the appropriate part of adenosine, there is no other form for it to move around, which prevents it to make us sleepy. Usually, without adenosine, the usual stimulants run active which make us exhausted. On the other hand, the brain quickly wises up to the caffeine tricks which makes us awake for a while.

When adenosine constantly blocked from attaching to its receptors, eventually, the body builds more receptors, which likely we require even more plug-up of caffeine. This is a hard habit to let go and makes us crave for more caffeine to keep us active the entire day.

According to Health Harvard, it is hard to let go of coffee as it is like quitting smoking. Missing the everyday intake of caffeine may make us feel more tired and may undergo some withdrawal syndromes. This is harder than we expected than those who have not taken coffee before.

Caffeine boosts adrenaline levels and mood - the same as what cocaine does to our brain, just a subtle one.
