According to Bird, he had lots of ideas he like that he wasn't able to apply to the original Incredibles. He also admitted that he was not able to get most of his ideas infused in a single movie because of the limited span of time given. Now that he revealed this new plan, he will be gathering all these ideas and try to combine them and use something out of them to create another extravagant movie worthy of all these efforts.
Also, Bird was able to get a chance to talk to Kathleen Kennedy, Lucasfilm president, and shared that they have discussed about him having the opportunity and honor to direct another one of the Star Wars films.
His film entitled Tomorrowland, which he is still working on, will be released on May 22, Friday, 2015. He is just currently trying to put his focus on getting this movie out, and all his time and work will already be for the preparation of this very much awaited sequel of "The Incredibles".
Director Bird also said that it also interests him that he can actually do other things, like shaping another trilogy. However, he has already started with the script of The Incredibles Sequel, and according to him, he can't think beyond that. He is apparently saving all of his attention for this project, and all that is to say is that that incoming sequel will definitely be incredible!
