They may no longer be husband and wife but Kris Jenner still has control over the coverage of Bruce Jenner's gender transition.

As reported by Confidenti@l, Jenner's sons with Linda Thompson, Brandon Jenner and Brody Jenner, were supposed to appear on the two-part special of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" about the transition, to be broadcasted on Sunday and Monday, however, the Kardashian matriarch cancelled their appearance.

The brothers were looking forward to open up on the upcoming episodes of the hit reality show, despite being only given specific dates to film.

A source revealed to Confidenti@l that they blocked out the dates so they can film, but Kris, who apparently did not want them on the show, "pulled the plug."

All of the 59-year old's momagers' daughters-Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner-are making an appearance on the special.

The insider added that the special "was a huge deal" for Kris and because she gets to run the show, she made it solely about her family and didn't include Jenner's children from his previous marriages.

As of now, it's still uncertain whether the two outcast Jenners have been given new filming dates. The first part of the special, which E! is promoting as "honest, raw and emotional," will air on Sunday next week, and the second part on Monday. Kris, as well as her three oldest daughters, are executive producers of the show.

It has been previously reported that there has been a growing power struggle between the two famous families over how Bruce's transition will be presented to the public. Kris, who is always in charge of her family's public appearances, was extremely anxious and uncomfortable because she had no involvement with Bruce's interview with Diane Sawyer. The "Bruce Jenner: The Interview," which had 17.1 million viewers, was where the former "World's Greatest Athlete" admitted that he indeed identifies as a woman.

After the interview aired, Bruce's kids, Brandon, Brody, Casey Jenner and Burt Jenner, told friends that they are disappointed with Farnaz Farjam-Chanzan, the producer of Bruce's upcoming docuseries about his transition, because they feel like he is closely involved with Kris.

Another insider told the website that although Kris will not take part in producing the show, she will still be getting "constant feedback."
