Why does Apple break up with its longtime factory partner? It is said there is a contradiction between these two companies. The main sticking point is because Foxconn has become less reliable. IPhone 5, which were manufactured by Foxconn, are peculiarly prone to appear scratches and scuffs. The problem has caused 8 million iPhone 5 to be returned by Apple Inc. In addition, Foxconn also manufactures Android phones. And Foxconn has announced it is developing the latest wearable devices, which may become a competitor of Apple's legendary iWatch.
As for Apple's new iPad partner, it seems Apple is still keeping the identity of its new supplier under wraps by now. But because of changing cooperative partner, Apple will need more time to release the newest iPad products.
Now, no one knows the exact time when new iPad will be released, especially under the circumstance that Apple didn't announced it was developing a new iPad. There have been reports that iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 will be launched in July, even earlier than iOS 7. Some other reports said Apple would release its latest iPad in October, one year later than iPad 4 and iPad mini.
The rumors goes that the iPad mini 2 will have an sharper Retina display of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels packed into the same 7.9-inch space. Moreover, the processor in iPad mini 2 will be updated from Apple A5 to Apple A6X. It is said iPad 5 will be equipped with an A7 processor, and there will be a 33% decrease in weight comparing with iPad 4.
