The trailer started with a hovership landing. After which, a meeting amongst the leaders of the rebellion is shown as they discuss Katniss Everdeen's role. During the meeting, President Snow declares that the Mockingjay symbol is illegal.
Katniss is then shown entering an underground bunker where refugees from Panem hide to seek safety. Katniss agrees to take up their cause.
Fans say that this movie is definitely way darker and has made it evident throughout the trailer that the war would be bloodier and dirtier than that of the first Hunger Games movies.
Aside from the trailer, weeks before, the producers also released a statement from President Snow. Peeta is seen beside him with a knife under his chin. Both are dressed in white standing against a white background.
The statement of President Snow was about unity between the 12 districts and the capitol. He announced that he is there to protect the districts, however if they resist, war will be an option.
Fans have been commenting on Twitter on how awesome the experience has been. There were even photo ops with the holograms and you get to sit on President Snow's throne. Treats showing the Mockingjay logo as well as design souvenir T- Shirts were also available in the Comic-Con's venue.
The amazing one-minute video of the trailer was not just a preview but an experience according to some of the fans. The movie is set to be out in theatres by November.
