Tech Times reported that the game has experienced a delay in Europe due to copyright issues but it will still be released under the label "Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains," with no definite release date though. Gamers from both regions will get a free and exclusive 3DS theme, which will not be sold solely on eShop. Gamers from Europe and America will also get Titan Nintendo 3DS theme with free attaches when they buy the copy of the game.

According to Game Informer,Titan was actually adapted on a Japanese manga series illustrated and written by Hajime Isayama in 2009, which made into an animation television show that premiered in 2013. It is a story about a herd of military fighters who use equipment as devices, 3d maneuver gear that can easily navigate by using long-range grappling hooks and powered by fuel boosters.

The story is focused on Mikasa Ackerman, the foster sister of the main character Eren Yeager and their friend, Armin Arlert. Giant army humanoid creatures called Titan tried to kill all humans by breaking into city walls. Collosal Titan and the soldiers will defend the city using their 3D maneuver gear. The Titans have tough skin that regenerates fast from wounds but the nape of their necks are considered as weak spots. The soldiers rely on swords, cannons and flintlock pistols. There is also a fusion of drama and exaggerated violence, which made "Shingeki no Kyojin" one of the most popular anime to date.
