Jay Z Bought Beyonce A ‘Game of Thrones’ Dragon Egg: Emilia Clarke

"Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke reported that rapper Jay Z might have bought a dragon egg from the show for his wife, Beyonce. Apparently, the former Destiny's Child member is one of the show's biggest fans.

There is no better proof of Beyonce's fandom than when she told People that her ideal Sunday is "spending time with my family. No work, not even a discussion about work; lunch at my favorite pizzeria; having a glass of red wine; and watching Game of Thrones."

Clarke, 28, stars in "Game of Thrones" as Daenerys Targaryen, commonly referred to as Khaleesi, the Mother of Dragons. Now that her children have hatched and are fully grown in the show, few people know what actually happened to the dragon egg props the show used. Apparently, one of them fell on the Queen Bey's arms.

According to Clarke, the props were akin to the highly decorated Faberge eggs and possibly almost as costly. This explains why she does not own one herself.

When things are put into perspective, it would not be surprising if either Jay Z or Beyonce eventually confirms the story, seeing as the rapper-turned-mogul has quite a reputation for giving his beloved priceless memorabilia from some of her favorite shows and movies. A list by E-Online shows that among these one-of-a-kind collectibles are Hurley's sweaty shirt from "Lost," the toy train from "Silver Spoons," an infamous computer from "Mad Men," and a bloody backdrop made famous by the gritty television show "Dexter."

"Game of Thrones" fans might be comforted by the thought that at least one of the Khaleesi's dragon eggs are in safe hands, but this does not stave off the excitement and drama of Westeros in the latest season. Clarke had a few hints to give Us Magazine readers about what to expect about her character.

"You'll get to see the fire in her belly," she said. "You'll see a bit of the Targaryen coming out. And her dragons, bloody teenagers! They are beginning to act up and she's beginning to understand how to wield their power . . . I think she's getting ready for the Iron Throne."
