Heavy metal fans all over the world celebrate the installation of the world's very first metal-head president, Joko "Jokowi" Widodo of Indonesia, BBC reports on Friday.
A Straits Times report during the Election Day portrayed Widodo to be at his happiest when making last-minute visits to slums in Jakarta, stirring idle officials by unannounced checks or headbanging with other metal-heads at a heavy metal concert.

After the 53-year-old Jakarta governor was declared the winner of the hotly contested Indonesian presidential polls on July 9, heavy metal fans and artists worldwide have been celebrating and congratulating him through social networking sites.
MetalInjection.net reported on Wednesday that Randy Blythe, frontman of the heavy metal band Lamb of God, has been one of thousands of metalheads to rejoice because of his triumph.
Blythe described him to be "the man of the people" writing on his Instagram page how thrilled he is about the knowledge of having a heavy metal fan as president of a country for the very first time.
"This is THE ONLY PRESIDENT IN THE WORLD with whom you can sit down and argue about which Slayer record is the best," he posted.
In spite of fraud claims from his opponent, president-elect Widodo has claimed with victory over the aloof Prabowo Subianto with a staggering 8 million lead revealed by the Elections Commission on July 22.
Described as a grounded and hands-on leader by many, the new president of Indonesia will begin his reign on October with the Indonesian people holding on to the hope of a new beginning he represents.
