"Destiny" is an upcoming online multiplayer first-person shooter set in a mythic science fiction universe.
Destiny is set to be released on Sept. 9 and will retail for US$59.99.

Gamers with PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, however, still need a subscription to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold, depending on the platform.
To start playing, users can go to the dashboard on Xbox or PSN on PlayStation, and download the beta version.
For players who pre-ordered the game, the beta trials began on July 17.
"The Beta has been eye-opening so far," said Bungie. "We've watched the world of Destiny come to life. Guardians from every platform have arrived at the Tower from their battles in the wild.
"We have watched your adventures with great interest, and listened to your feedback. Your missions have provided us with volumes of discoveries we can use to prepare for the launch of Destiny in September."
The recently ended open beta let players without a beta code test the game. The trials also tested the machines and data gathered after the trial can be used to compare on which device "Destiny" runs best.
Although the final game is reported to play with a full 1080p resolution, the beta version on the Xbox One runs on lower settings.
Since the trial began, the developer has told of numerous surprises hidden from beta testers.
