Recently, Amazon Japan "hires" a group of very special staff to help weed the company. It is absolutely green and natural. That's a herd of goats. Yes, you read that right.
Starting from July 2nd, the goats entered into the logistic distribution center in Tajimi of Japan, and began an experimental ecological way to weed the grounds. This is a part of the environmental series programs for Amazon Japan Company. From now until the end of October, Amazon Japan will hire the crowd of goats to weed the grounds every week.
The goats even seem to have employee style identification tags on them, just like the human employee.
According to Amazon Japan, the company hopes they can reduce the carbon dioxide emissions through weeding by goats, instead of using traditional lawn mowers. In addition, Amazon Japan wishes the employees would feel at ease when seeing so many cute goats wandering in the garden.
What's more, Amazon Japan launched an incredible "pets vacation" plan recently. According to the plan, when employee's pets get sick, the employee can stay at home to take care of the pets. What a sweet company!
