Miller wanted to map out Max's life and adventures, and it does no longer matter the terms of the man's age, explaining the character newfound youthfulness. By the time we got going again Mel has all that...turbulence in his life, and besides, the film wasn't about an older mad Max."
The first "Mad Max" released in 1979, showed a world where oil and energy scarcity took place. In 198, the Mad Max sequel "The Road Warrior", was released where bombs had fallen and Max roamed the savage wasteland. After 4 years the 3rdsequel Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome was released. Max rescues the children that was banished from a deserted town, where max encountered Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron.
The fourth sequel that was supposed to come in 2001 got delayed multiple times and later wanted a younger actor to play the role. Miller the 70-year old award winning director disclosed that when first time he met Hardly, he found him as the ideal replacement of Max, finding similarities between the two actors.
The Max: Fury Road is a two-hour film was longer than the two previous Max that features ran barely 90 minutes. Miller said that the fourth instalment of Max has innumerable new elements to keep the action compelling and boast a higher percentage of flat-out amazing than any of its predecessors.
The reboot fourth instalment of Mad Max: Fury Road will open on theatres, May 14 2015, under Warner Brothers and won't be the last, as Hardy claimed signing 3 more instalments.
