Square Enix has disclosed on Wednesday that "Dragon Quest 8" will be coming to 3DS.

The Anime News Network reported that the "Dragon Age 8: Sora to Umi to Daichi to Norowareshi Himegimi" ("Dragon Quest 8: The Sky, the Ocean, the Earth, and the Cursed Princess") is set to be released for the Nintendo 3DS on August 27.

The price of the game is 5,980 yen, which is roughly around US$49 and the said upcoming game will also support the Nintendo 3DS platform StreetPass system.

The "Dragon Quest 8: The Sky, the Ocean, the Earth, and the Cursed Princess" will give an incentive from various retailers but it will differ depending on where the game has been pre-ordered. If the customer has pre-ordered the game in Yodobashi Camera/Yodobashi.com, the customer can get a metal slime tray, which defends the player against magic attacks. In 7-Eleven there is a lucky pendant which can be used to dodge the attack of the enemy.

Also, in Game Tsutaya, it offers a gold bamboo spear that is made of pure gold. In Amazon.co.jp there is a Healie T-shirt - a "mysterious shirt" that recovers HP "little by little."

A Healie cap is the incentive of Aeon and it increases maximum HP and dexterity. Menwhile, in Square Enix e-Store, there is a candy cane - a weapon for Yangus that causes damage and effective on metallic monsters.

According to the translation of Gematsu, the game will feature voiceovers, StreetPass support and soundtrack by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. It is said that the game will also feature new story scenario and two new party members - a female thief Gelda and Morrie from the game "Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road arcade game." 

Meanwhile, Square Enix first released the game "Dragon Quest 8: Sora to Umi to Daichi to Norowareshi Himegimi" for the PlayStation 2 users in 2004 in Japan and 2005 in North America, along with the "Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King."

In Android and iOS, port of the game has been released in December 2013 in Japan and released the port worldwide in May.
