Ding Junhui, the leading player of Chinese national snooker team, played very well in Asian Indoor Games which held days before. He, along with another two teammates, liang Wenbo and Tian Pengfei, become the best Asian snooker players again. Chinese team won Thai and Indian players in the quarterfinal and final competitions, Ding, as the finale candidate, played very well in those games, he cracked complicated game situation and helped Chinese team won inevitably.

In the fifth round of the final competition, Ding and his opponent from India fell into a long-time tough battle, for the billiards formed a very complicated shape on the table, and neither of them could find a way out for a time being. Ding, calmed down, and won by 58-30 after a 70-minute long fight.
In the final game, Ding fought China with his own snooker strengths and cool temperament. Ding Junhui once led China's national team in the 2006 Doha Asian Games and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, won with the honor of team champion, and this time, Ding kept China's No.1 reputation in the field of Asian snooker again.
Ding shouted in the snooker room with his hands tightly gripped after surely winning the final game. He smiled brilliantly on the podium, he and anther teammates raised their index fingers in a way to poise as the champions as well as to show their excited feelings.
