Sarah Jessica Parker Launches Shoe Line Amidst Rumors of 'Sex and the City 3'

Fans of "Sex and the City" and Sarah Jessica Parker will not be expecting a third installment of the popular TV series' movie franchise any time soon.

Parker has created a buzz in the online community after she posted a photo on Instagram in which she was spotted in front of Bloomingdale's flagship store carrying the infamous "Brown Bag". She was wearing a white dress and looked very much like her on-screen persona that fans were quick to speculate about a third installment of the franchise. EOnline has spoken with Warner Bros., one of the show's producers, "The post is not in relation to the "Sex and the City"  property," said the studio, referring to the said post.

Parker herself cleared up the matter on a later Instagram post with the caption, "Pinch me, I'm dreaming. After months and months of sworn secrecy, I can finally shout the news from the rooftop. Or even better, from the iconic @bloomingdales awning. Welcome to New York, @sjpcollection. You're going to love it here. Finally, a permanent home in NYC. Ps. Forgive me for any previous misunderstandings. Twenty lashes with a wet noodle. Yours forever, Sj x."

Parker has said that her partnership with Bloomingdale's will enable her to regularly check in with the collection's buyers and its sales staff.

"I don't think people realize how small we are, it's just me and George - I'm in every meeting, every conversation, every sales meeting, every market week, every sample comes through my hands - having the change now to drop by a New York store whenever I can instead of having to travel is a huge opportunity," she said in WWD.

Parker and George Malkemus will be releasing 29 styles from the SJP Collection at the Bloomingdale's flagship store.

The Emmy-award winning actress played the lead role as Carrie Bradshaw in the defunct TV series "Sex and the City" alongside Kim Catrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis.
