Various Chinese entertainment websites reported that the gorgeous mother of two was out enjoying some shopping time at Hong Kong's IFC mall when she almost ran into a news reporter.

In an attempt to avoid running into the reporter and getting asked questions, the 34-year old "Dangerous Liaisons" star tried to ride the mall elevators. But since the elevators were extremely slow, the singer-actress whipped her phone out and started talking as she waited.

Unfortunately Cheung failed to convince the reporter, especially since she was caught holding her phone upside down. And because the home screen was lit up, it was very easy to see that the display was inverted as well.

The persistent reporter tried to get some answers out of Cheung but the actress reportedly happily continued her pretense.

Cheung made headlines last month when she was fired from the upcoming movie "Fly Me to Polaris 2."

The first movie, which she starred in alongside Richie Chen was a blockbuster hit and her role as Nurse Autumn Yue earned her the "Best New Performer" award at the 19th Hong Kong Film Awards.

Despite demanding HK $10 million salary to star in the sequel, Director Jingle Ma agreed and even persuaded the production company to cast her. After both parties finally agreed on her salary, Cheung reportedly asked for another HK $5 million and demanded that that they film in Singapore since her two sons reside there.

The production company, as well as Ma, were said to have been extremely furious at Cheung that they decided to let her go.

This is not the first time that Cheung was fired from a movie. In March this year, she was fired from the "Legend of the Gods" due to her diva attitude and on-set tantrums.
