"Chinese entrepreneurs should be positive and energetic, they contribute to Chinese economic development, and they need to be respected by the general public." Liu Chuanzhi said in an interview, but he also admitted that there existed some evil members in this entrepreneur group, for example, someone is not honest enough, jeopardizes social stability,etc. Liu still comments this issue from an overall angle, saying " I believe such negative behaviors can be stifled for the whole group itself pays much attention to positive side of commercial community and could deliver fine sound. The reason why Lenovo now takes a part in the investment field is to know more about large,medium and small enterprises, thus Lenovo could better share with others its management experience."

As to the competition issue between entrepreneurs, Liu Chuanzhi holded that there did exist some unfair phenomena, some robbed others of opportunities by depending on certain power and influence. And his advice is to escape from such issue but not to provoke it. Liu said he actually got through all those troubles by avoiding them in his early years of starting a business. However, he also believes that China's entrepreneuring environment has changed a lot. "In the early 1980s, the environment for entrepreneurs who wanted to seek a fortune was totally terrible without any order, and we did not know which direction China was going towards then. Nevertheless, it became better and better , and we could compete with outers later." Liu said.
