It is reported that China warned United States not to send U.S. Navy ships or aircraft to the South China Sea, where there are issues about territorial claims over disputed waters.

FOX reported that the Pentagon is thinking of doing an on-air surveillance and send  ships to Spratly Islands' with 12 nautical miles of coral reefs being disputed, built up and claimed by China. The U.S. government said it does not acknowledge the island as a territory of China because there has no final decision made over the disputed islands. On the other hand, on Wednesday, China's Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying answered and said they will not support any move from the U.S. government.

There are six countries  involve in the dispute - China, Brunei, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan and Malaysia - over the South China Sea claim, may it be partial or whole.

The Philippines top diplomat Foreign Minister Albert del Rosario, on Tuesday, said that the Philippines is  seeking more U.S. support  in stopping China's land reclamation project in Spratlys. CNN reported that China has implemented the "nine-dash line," a rough estimate and demarcation line of the Chinese territory on its official maps that envelopes the ocean virtually.

Apparently, the Philippines is an ally of the U.S. and has declared its concern about the Spratly islands dispute over the previous year. A senior U.S. defence official said last week that land reclamation made by China is likely for military airstrips or use.

He said that China's control could result to militarization and also a possible threat to the freedom of navigation and rule of law.

Chinese officials responded the reclamation, saying that the infrastructure and buildings are for support to fishermen and public service only and it is the territory of Beijing. They said, Vietnam and Philippines are doing the same thing.
